We happened to visit Shiroi Koibito Park during its 30th anniversary celebration in June 2025

We’ve eaten Shiroi Koibito chocolate cookies many times, and at home we even have several vintage cookie tins from different years. However, we had never actually visited Shiroi Koibito Park before. In June 2025, we finally came here for the first time — and it just happened to be the park’s 30th anniversary. What a lucky coincidence!

Buying pudding at the entrance of the Shiroi Koibito Park parking area

On Day 3 of our Hokkaido self-driving trip, it took about 30 minutes to drive from the Sapporo Beer Museum to Shiroi Koibito Park. The parking lot is located on Basement Level 1. After parking, we went up to the main hall and gift shop, where we immediately spotted BAKE SHOP CHELSEA selling delicious puddings. We bought the “Namaelaka Pudding” (smooth pudding) to try — it was really tasty.

After finishing the pudding, we left the main shop area and headed upstairs. Along the way, we saw displays celebrating the 30th anniversary of Shiroi Koibito Park. There were three self-service ticket machines at the ticket counter, where we purchased our tickets to enter and visit the chocolate and cookie factory.

Right at the beginning, there was a projection mapping light show at Shiroi Koibito Park. Inside the chocolate house, the lighting showcased introductions to historical figures related to chocolate, as well as explanations of the chocolate-making process.

After walking out of the chocolate house, the corridors on both sides displayed many aristocratic-style teacups, along with cute Shiroi Koibito merchandise and the adorable Purumi & Ramuru cat characters.

We then headed toward the Shiroi Koibito factory for the tour. Along the way, there were many cookie tins from different years on display — including some golden ones. You can really see how much the packaging design has changed over the past 30 years.

There was also an exhibition introducing the dedicated training ground of the Hokkaido Consadole Sapporo football team, known as the “Miyanomori Shiroi Koibito Soccer Field.” After finishing the indoor tour, we headed outside toward the fountain in the rose garden.

Of course, we didn’t miss the puppet carnival clock tower that performs on the hour — a popular free attraction that draws many visitors. The courtyard was beautifully decorated with blooming roses and lavish 30th anniversary decorations of Shiroi Koibito Park. It was truly gorgeous.
