After driving about 2.5 hours from Biei to Sapporo, we stayed overnight in a triple room at Hotel New Otani Inn Sapporo. Since our family usually travels as a group of three, a triple room suits us perfectly. In the evening, we took a short walk to visit some of Sapporo’s famous landmarks, including the Sapporo Clock Tower and the Sapporo TV Tower located in Odori Park. For dinner, we enjoyed charcoal-grilled lamb at the well-known Genghis Khan Daruma Main Branch.

When we first arrived at the entrance of Hotel New Otani Inn Sapporo, we were only able to stop briefly to unload our luggage, as temporary parking is not allowed at the hotel entrance. We then drove to a nearby multi-story parking garage to park the car.

After paying for parking at the underground parking lot beneath the HTB Building (Sapporo Factory / Sapporo Creative Square) near the hotel, we walked back to the hotel to check in.

The triple room on the 7th floor was clean and comfortable. Each of us had our own bed, which made sleeping more comfortable without disturbing one another. The room was also very quiet, and we couldn’t hear any noise from other guests.

The hotel is conveniently located in central Sapporo, making it an ideal place to stay. With its excellent location, it is easy to go out for meals or take a leisurely walk to nearby attractions. The area is easy to navigate and not confusing at all. The bathroom and closet were both quite spacious, allowing us to store our clothes and luggage inside without cluttering the walking space.
