On the second night of the self-driving trip, we will stay at Toyoko INN Fujisan Mishima-eki

On the second night of our 12-day self-driving trip to Hakone, Lake Kawaguchi, and Hokkaido, we stayed at Toyoko INN Fujisan Mishima-eki. For dinner, we went to Hamazushi Mishima Chuocho to enjoy some delicious sushi. After that, we drove to the hotel. Luckily, parking here is very convenient and spacious, so we didn’t have to worry about finding a nearby paid parking lot.

There’s a dedicated multi-story parking facility right next to the hotel 👍. If there are no parking spaces available on the lower levels, you can simply drive up to the higher floors to find an open spot.

One small regret was forgetting to temporarily stop the car at the 1st-floor entrance to unload our luggage. After we parked, we had to slide the suitcases down the ramp, which worked out fine in the end 😅.

After checking in, we stayed on the 12th floor. Fortunately, our single room and double room were located nearby (Room 1229 and Room 1228), which made moving things between rooms very convenient.

The view from the 12th floor was quite nice. Through the window, we could see the buildings across the street and the traffic passing by on the road below.

The next morning, we took some photos of the scenery outside, including what seemed to be a water purification or filtration facility nearby. When we went down to the parking lot to grab some items from the car, we also took a picture of the parking area—it’s really convenient for guests with cars.

At breakfast time, there were a lot of people dining on the 1st floor. Even though the dining area was spacious, it was almost full, and there were hardly any seats left. We asked the hotel staff if we could take breakfast back to our room, and they said it was fine to use the provided styrofoam containers. So, just like we did at Toyoko INN Odawara Station East Exit the previous night, our family enjoyed breakfast in our rooms. The food was pretty good, and we got to taste a different style of hotel-cooked breakfast.
