Enjoying a relaxed breakfast at Tully's Coffee Sapporo STV Kita 2-jo branch

On the morning of Day 3 of our Hokkaido self-drive trip, we didn’t have breakfast at Hotel New Otani Sapporo because our original room booking did not include breakfast. After waking up, our family walked to a nearby café, Tully’s Coffee Sapporo STV Kita 2-jo branch, to have breakfast.

There are three Tully’s Coffee locations around the Sapporo area. We chose the STV Kita 2-jo branch, which is the closest one to Hotel New Otani Sapporo. The café is very bright and spacious, with both smoking and non-smoking areas. We had breakfast in the non-smoking section.

There are plenty of seats inside the café, most of them are tables for two. We found a table for four and then went to the counter to place our order. We ordered breakfast set meals, which all came with drinks. The first items to be served were hot coffee, hot tea, and iced milk tea.

In addition to coffee, we also enjoyed some delicious breakfast items. The hot, freshly made burgers and bread paired well with the coffee and tasted great.

We also tried a hot dog bun, which we hadn’t had in a long time. It was topped with a layer of cheese, and to our surprise, it tasted really good—so good that we couldn’t help but take big bites.

After finishing our simple breakfast, we left Tully’s Coffee Sapporo STV Kita 2-jo branch. The location is very convenient, and we even walked across the street to take a photo of the café’s location. After that, it was time to continue with Day 3 of our Hokkaido self-drive itinerary.
